Roberto Dutesco is one of my favorite photographers and I am in love with his Sable Island horse series. Dutesco has been photographing these wild horses for over ten years in their natural habitat; Sable Island is a 41 km sandbar Southeast of Halifax, Nova Scotia and is a place without trees, shade or shelter. It is known as the “graveyard of the pacific” as over 275 ships have wrecked on this coastline. Dutesco shares part of his sales to the preservation of this land and the protection of the 300 wild horses that roam here. Please visit dutescoart.com.
